Churnetside is the name given to the area around Cheddleton near Leek in the North Staffordshire Moorlands. It takes its name from the river Churnet which flows through the valley there.
Situated on the border of the Peak District National Park, and also being near Alton Towers amusment park, it has become poplular for visitors. Other attractions include the Cheddleton Valley Railway.
